Security Update: January 15 2011 9:22pm EST
I have made a security update, making it less likely we will be hacked. First, I changed something only Admins need to worry about (Involving the Administration Panel). I also made it possible for Moderators to ban people. Moderators, please do not abuse this! If you feel completely neccessay, ban someone for 3 days. Any other extent will be seen by me and other Admins and you better have a very good reason for banning someone for a year. If ANYONE abuses this new PRIVELAGE, THEIR account will be the one banned for the remainder of the year. Anyways, Moderators can also now see hidden users. For example if a hacker hides himself, a Moderator can check his IP and other information. If it is a hacker or someone with the sole perpose of advertising(Example, someone advertising a site on their first post), ban him forever (If there isn't a forever button or something that says leave it blank to ban him forever, set it to the maximum number of days or 999999999 days or something like that). Anyways, this will increase the forums security greatly.
